There is Power in a Union

Music Vid:

Billy Bragg, There Is Power In A Union

"Solidarity is not a matter of altruism. Solidarity comes from the inability to tolerate the affront to our own integrity of passive or active collaboration in the oppression of others, and from the deep recognition of our most expansive self-interest. From the recognition that, like it or not, our liberation is bound up with that of every other being on the planet, and that politically, spiritually, in our heart of hearts we know anything else is unaffordable." ~ Aurora Levins Morales

That is one hell of a quote- but it takes too long to analyze and too much storage for sheepus domesticatus to pay attention to.

Everyone likes to get fucked now and again, on their terms. But when your only certainty of getting boned royally on a daily basis originates with your employer, ya tend to feel a little violated.

When it comes to terms I no longer want to hear, add Unsubstainable to Resilient. Krugman may still use them, but no one else.

how bout we need a revolution cause we want more cake.

The Corporations that equal people got all the cake right now.

10 years of tax breaks didn't create jobs or spread prosperity, so now it's all in and double down to boot.

Fox uses a Rasputin poll to show popular support for all things wingnut. There's a shock.
