yeah. especially if lake erie isn't frozen. picks up water off the lake and dumps it onshore in intense snow bands. have about 4-6 inches left here. should be gone by end of weekend with rain on the way. had about 130 inches total for this winter.
I think i'll move my beans this year too. last year was drought and nothing did very well but its too early to worry about all that right now. the snow just about melted off today. two days ago it still looked like winter. and I haven't even gotten around to setting up for the indoor starts.
the bush beans are so good at farmers market i just do pole beans. nobody sells the blue lake. need to ,make bread + butter piuckles this year. guess 3 years is the limit in the fridge. gotta get the tomsstarted. never do well w/ toms. maybe just sweet 100 cherry tho. last year i finally cracked the recipe for the BEST MEAL ever on an airplane. swedish! i added cherry toms justto uise up the overripe ones. tomato paste, little cayenne, thryme, bit of italian seasoning. onions, bell peppers, celery opt. 1/2 pint of cherry toms. may freeze whole toms, so no need for canned.
