Merry Christmas farmer, and a great '13.
global warming brings new fauna. we have had winter possums in milw as well. i saw one in the yard one night this year.
well, finally got some snow. ain't no 8-14" - like they were carrying on about all yesterday - but more like 4-5". but still purty. *
purty nice ours looks pitiful.
ours looks pitiful.you need to be refreshed.*
we were, with another pitiful inch or 2. fluffier tho.
i don't think there were any fireworks last night FOR ONCE. newtown was that big?
i almost forgot about the new year cliff i was so busy watching the other cliff drama. turned to cnn just in time to watch mitt romney's car elevator drop - i mean the ball in times square drop - had some whiskey and egg nog and went back to watching the political party in progress.so, happy new year. i hope eric cantor has a happy hangover tomorrow when he wakes up in a pool of his own puke. *
may we kill gerrymandering next time.
may we kill gerrymandering next time.can't really kill gerrymandering altogether cuzz redistricting (and gerrymandering) is done at the state level (each state has its own rules, laws, etc). any challenges within each state go through the courts and or even to the supreme court in some cases. so its not really anything that is regulated from warshington. unless its covered by something like the voting rights act or something like that... but every state has a constitutional right to redistrict based on population changes etc... so it can become difficult to control what is normal redistricing and what amounts to devious gerrymandering.*
i guess i should put up a new post. bummed we haven't heard from mike in a long time. and pjk didn't even stop by to say merry christmas or let us know if the goats were doing ok. jezis h christmess.*
a few states went farther to kill partisanshit.
