bleeding hearts blossomed mid april. other flowers starting ahead of time. had more rain last night. are we in the flooding zone or drought this summer?

Hopefully Redneck season comes to a close in 5 weeks, rain be damned.

Best analogy I heard was using WI as a Petri dish for right-wing legislation. Pay at this window, ya know, my hair ain't growin' itself these days or stayin' Roy Orbison purple-black in color without sufficient funding.

We're Springing into Summer and Falling back lately. Must be time to feed the old JD a few hundred so it may limp through another mowing season.

Happy Cinco or Feliz or whatever come Saturday.

Have a good .75 liter if you can't have a good fifth. And I mean you, mike.

good thing WI is a big sponge then. + the garden gets turned over even if wet.

Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday, but I'll drink to it.

spend enough on JD and ya can limp yer way through decades of seasons.

so, who's going to win the chance to beat up on scott walker in june?

Jezis H. Moroni, fretting about another guys hair - enough to gather together a little posse to chase the guy down and cut it - sounds pretty gay in and of itself to me. some kind of preppy boy mean-queen sissy crew mittens was running back then. now i understand why he knows so much about french perfumes.

Aye. Anyone else see Niedermayer in the prep school pic? Just another of his "c'mon, chuckle along with me!" stories.

On the JD front, I shoulda bought the old Wheel Horse off a guy at work for $275, as a backup.

BeeYatch at the non-authorized local clip joint tells me $65 for a fuel pump and $275 for a carb. Describes them both as non-rebuildable.

I disbelieve her, because these are Kawasaki JD parts.

And the wife got canned from her assistant teller supervisor job at the "bank of friendly service" today. Heads must roll when the psycho branch manager du jour needs to cover her ass.

It's like Romney's already Prez in their world. A few short years ago, no one was basing your employability on "would you like investment referrals with that?" upselling; never mind that their rates suck, sell baby sell!

And I wasn't questioning either yor ethnic background or location mike; it was basically thinking a fellow old fart would remember the "if ya can't have a good 4th, well then have a good fifth!" outdated reference to pre-metric US liquor packaging.

Probably only used around July 4.

Ladies & Gentlemen-

am I on a cached page, or is we-all busy doing seasonal things, or-

did the farmer retire from blogging, and skipped mentioning it because of all the shit (read "accolades") we gave him last time?

Happy belated Mother's Day. And happy early Memorial Day. too.

doing seasonal things. seems like it all piles up this time of year, especially this year. too tired to write stuff down or think about stuff to blog about. i figured the sidebar items would keep y'all company for a while.

my comments are missing.

you were missing for a fortnight. maybe your comments went looking for you.
