SBL Water Trail

An old apple tree next to a pond.

A bull near the apple tree next to the pond.

The springwell - a mile or so up the road from the bull and the apple tree and the pond - where I like to go to fill plastic jugs with water for drinking. Just because. Because I'm a hedonist.

All of this took place in less than an hour on a single afternoon. You'll just have to imagine how much fun I had for the next 23 hours.

Birdseye view of the springwell. Yellow arrow marks the spot.

that apple tree is gorgeous. there is a spring well in a corner of milw that people still come to fill jugs. so, nothing strange about that.

i like this one because its backed by all that state forest so i know there aren't toxins from farm runoff in the area. a couple more springs nearby that people have been filling up at for years. but i've had frogs and newts and snakes come out of the pipe when i was filling up at one of those. water out of my faucet is probably just as good since its from a drilled well but i like the spring. and i don't want any of it poisoned by the fracking gassholes.

humans can't drink gas.

and they can't drink all the toxic fracking chemicals that find their way into the aquifers and streams and rivers and watersheds. The plants and animals can't drink it either.
