itch? stream? hope that isn't a low spot of the road.

stream?

canal. part of an old towpath canal that was built back in the early 1800s and operated until the late 1800s. a tributary of the erie canal system. the road next to it is the original towpath. horses and mules would walk down the path pulling the canal boats.

canal? any zebra mussels?

the farmer said...

no. these sections of the old canals have been isolated for over a hundred years. since the late 1800s. but canals like the erie and and the cayuga-seneca and champlain and oswego which are still in operation and connect lake ontario with the inland lakes have problems. eel infestation problems too.

Son of a bitch! I got to zebra mussels, stated those synapses thinking about some smartass Eel Farming comment and--- DAMN!

Only John Stewart can get away with either the exact or exact opposite circumstance already being in effect.

Not too many good invasive species out there.
