pansy- like we missed the eclipse?

Or, like unfamiliar with the firearm/slippery road under the truck/a little Kesslers "Mist"?

farmer- live tree ok, middle of the night 24-hr shopping ok, family gathering ok.

And a kickass Hilshire Farms 17-pound whole ham in the Nesco that withstood being turned down low for a few hours, after our guests filled us in on their ETAs.

No screaming, crying, injuries, or famously inebriated moments. Even as we sampled the 12 year Flor de Cana (and read the story on the box about the Liquoria down the road through the cane plantation at the feet of the legendary volcanoes- but no moon in the artwork).

My best wishes to all.

12 year Flor de Cana

Thats it pjk. Hang a hammock under a live fir tree in the living room, heave a sacrifice into the Nesco and praise the volcano gods. What more can anyone ask for (yeah, I know theres more, but at some point ya just gotta stop and smell the Flor De Cana).

Pansy: that recipe sounds a lot like the one i use. Sounds really good. But explain further some of the mysterious coding: "fr OJ OH, RED WINE 1ST" -- [fr=?] - [OJ=orange juice, check?] - [OH, huh?] - [red wine, ok,check] - [1st, what?]

BTW: I got a machete for Christmas. Thank the 5 volcano gods someone in my family finally understands me!

That sounds like an anonymous pr comment to me!

I thought so too at first but i'm not so sure now. Could be a some kind of Midnight Cowboy thing.

I hope Mike checks back in. I was really really so happy to hear from him. That chemo takes a lot outta a person. My dad went through it 10 years ago with lymphoma - he beat it but it wasn't easy. A fight fire with fire kinda thing.

gotta cover the ham with red wine before the mustard/oj slop. oh, and the hamified pineapple goes on the brown rice. cooked slow 2 hours. once no pineapple rings, only tidbits. my ham looked like pinhead.
seems that is the only time brown rice is yummy.

so says mike in pr

actually, chemo has been a piece of cake for me. i get it only once every three weeks, and i don't experience any of the negative side effects like nausea, vomiting, hairloss, etc. i actually feel better right after taking it. but the bitter truth is i'm not going to get better. just trying to squeeze out a little more time.

(if "mike in pr" doesn't show up as my identity, what am i doing wrong to prevent it from doing so? i've become computer incompetent after a fourth month absence fom the machine. and don't even tyy to get me startd on facbook and twitter and all that other new-fangled horseshit.)

need to do two things: first check the box for "Name/URL" and then enter "Mike in PR" into the "Name" field.

Squeezing out time to be with the people you love (and I don't mean us!) is the best thing anyone can do, given whatever odds. I applaud your courage, mike.

Then, the only reason to lay off the Don Q is that you found a better substitute, right?

While you're at it, tell the docs that you really need something to "take the edge off" the nausea and help you eat even if you're not feeling hungry. Something Organic.

and have a good New Year.

Fiendish wonders of the internet. What's not to love?
