buddies. looks more like brudders.

my taters are looking weedy, but good. no hilling. sigh. no idea if the other onions doing ok. marigols are on hyper-drive.

yaeh, marigolds always do good especially if ya can keep the slugs off em early on - plus the deer won't eat them.

petunias and zinnias too. pretty much can't go wrong with any of those.

I've recently been diagnosed as having metastaic lung disease so Carmen and I will soon be going to Sloan-Kettering for further tests and if warrented, treatment. Don't know if and when we'll be back. Just want to thank my dear SBL friends for all the good chats we've had over the past several years. It's been good to know you and thanks for the memories.

mike, that ain't good to hear. However-

My younger brother has been through a bout/diagnosis with negative outlook/treatment for (multiple?) myeloma over the last year and a half.

The good news is now his doctors have a positive outlook. The bad news is that they hit their family deductible before the end of January.

You get yourself better if possible. We need you, Don Q needs you, the commonwealth needs you...

need I go on?

Take Care.

Geezis Mike, what the hell, why'd ya have to go and get yourself mixed up with a thing like that? Seriously, heres hoping for all the best possible outcomes with respect to further testing and diagnosis and treatments. And I hope you'll be able to drop by at some point to lets us know how you're doing.
