Wangnut Time Babble Grenade

"Her rugged individualism, self-reliance and a Herculean work ethic resonate now more than ever in a country spinning away from these basics that made the U.S.A. the last best place. We who are driven to be assets to our families, communities and our beloved country connect with the principles that Sarah Palin embodies." ~ Ted Nugent, Time, May, 2010

The May, 2010 issue of Time magazine hits the racks in grocery store isles and dental office waiting rooms across the nation. And Eric Alterman peeks inside to get a look at Ted Nugent's starburst love grenade to Sarah Palin:
I ask you, dear reader, has any other allegedly reputable magazine ever published a stupider article...?

Ted Nugent, embodying the basics:

Wang dang, what a sweet poontang - a shakin' my thang as a rang-a-dang-dang in the bell - She's so sweet when she yanks on my meat - Down on the street you know she can't be beat

"Glenn Beck is in the same business as Palin—the "get rich off the right-wing crazies" business."

farmer..my career is sorta (?) in the commode. The mortgage payments on the compound, coupled with my Skool of Huntin' Ejjikation Place are bustin' me nut..what could I possibly do to get back in the ..

Personally relatin', I have a few Zelig like moments with teh' Nuge, one of the more loathsome people I have ever met, but I am storing them up for the re-opening of the SBL "Story Teller Z' stage, wherein the Blabby Boom Boom rifts gets ta' flying. It's a gonna be a long hot summer, full of "Taste of Kankakee" like shindigs, and I am certainly looking fwd to a Nuge sighting or 47. Too bad "Ma Nuge" died, she'd be right up on stage with sonny boy, wearing a red white and blue spangled halter..

the new Uncle Teddy.

Watch Miller or Carlson or Ron (?) Reagan and get the Same Exact straight-from-the-heart RNC memo.

Palin? Can anyone now screaming "Socialism!" also say "useful idiot", and put that in context for bonus points?

The Nuge is undoubTEDly so all-American manly that he don't need to enhance his bank account doin' KY Intense commercials. Gets enough by endorsing bow string lube made from the rendered grease of animals he's "whacked and stacked" himself, I reckon.

So much for the song in the background; he wouldn't want to compromise his artistic integrity for a few "bucks"- right?

the greatest shadow bird ever
a crow of vast expanse
an impossible dream bird
that's who's coming up the stairs

its feet are claws are prongs are reptiles
its eyes are molars in god's mouth
its center of balance is you
up it hops, up it hops
did you have stairs coming from the darkness
when you were young?
because it's your bird now:
gonna feed it?

it went outside
and mocks traffic
so fast, so slow

gonna swerve so you don't hit it?
think it knows something?
it does and it doesn't

listen:
you have figured out every trick
you have guessed all of the outcomes
you have cursed at formality
you have puked at causality
you are in the perfect place
and you know that when you name it
it is entirely gone

so don't name it

the greatest shadow bird ever
is your buddy now
its wings will fly you to dharamsala
where elephant boys sell trinkets
to the tourists

you will never be free of not being free
you will never be one step behind or ahead
you will always be flying with a great dark bird
the crow friend

when next you meditate don't meditate
not everyone controls prana
not everyone is a flying shadow

p.s. Nice place you got here.

mjs; the carrion-feasting bird which we dare not name?

"Big Daddy" talked about the smell of mendacity in the room.

Eisenhower talked about the military-industrial complex.

Lots of folks talk about how the system of representive government can be sold to the highest bidder.

But JUST like the Founding Fathers, they didn't figure on info-tainment networks teaching the uninformed on how to become downright stupid.

With the screech of a giant birds claw on a chalkboard, held by a smug and smiling reptile disguised as a fellow human.
