pritee, but i'm glad we're getting a warm up for a change. just enough of one so i can fall asleep at night to the sounds of an early spring (the sump pump turing on and off in the basement all night long).*
about 40f here.i love winter's naked trees
Winter's fine as long as you're on the inside looking out.
I don't mind winter too much (it has its moments) but by the end of Feb i've definetly had enough.and it looks like maybe another big storm for the great lakes northeast around the last day of the month (although its still 2 weeks out). check out the long rang forecast model (for Feb 28) to see what i means at the link below (scroll down to the two bottom maps):www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/pmb/nwprod/analysis/namer/gfs/18/fp1_324.shtml*
try that again:noaa link*
i can only think that's why they made february so short. our snow is rapidly crystalizing.
our snow is rapidly crystalizing.same here. you can walk right on top of it now without sinking in. the deer are eating out of the birdfeeder now because of the added glacial elevation.*
i hear birds. threw out seed cause i am not going to the feeder yet. pumpkin feel out of the pussy tree. waiting for the 1st chippy.
pumpkin fell out of the pussy treethat should be a song. *
if it's over 20ft tall, i don't think you can call it a pussy willow BUSH.
